libgnome2-vfs-perl software package provides Perl interface to the 2.x series of the GNOME VFS library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgnome2-vfs-perl
libgnome2-vfs-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgnome2-vfs-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgnome2-vfs-perl *
You will get with libgnome2-vfs-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
